Millage helps Brevard Public Schools continue offering programs that keep students learning, engaged, and prepared for the future. This is not a new tax.
It helps fund music programs in our secondary schools, providing students with opportunities to develop their talents through band, chorus, orchestra, and other performing arts experiences.
At Madison, millage funding helped support the installation of new LED lighting in our classrooms, newly painted interiors and exteriors, as well as electrical and roof renewals.
Our Music Rooms are completely transformed! These resources allow student musicians to learn, perform, and grow. Mohawk Music thanks you, Brevard!!
Participation in music education builds creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence while helping students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

This year at Madison, that meant our Gymnasium got a brand new bleachers. They look amazing and our Physical Education, Basketball, Volleyball, and overall Athletics Programs have greatly benefited from the improvement!!

We’re excited to invite you and your future 7th grader to our Madison Middle School Showcase 2026 on Thursday, January 8th! This special evening is designed to welcome our future Mohawks and introduce families to the amazing opportunities and programs available at Madison Middle School.
Doors open at 5:45 PM
Showcase begins at 6:00 PM in the Cafeteria
Here’s what to expect:
A warm Meet and Greet with our administration and staff
A General Session featuring our Title 1 overview and other important school information
Classroom Visits to explore academic offerings
A showcase of Clubs and Activities that enrich student life
This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our campus, connect with educators, and learn more about the engaging classes and extracurriculars that make Madison Middle School a vibrant place to learn and grow.

Madison Picture Day will take place on Thursday, August 28th. Dress to impress and be sure to bring your smile! Order your pictures ahead of time by using the website and keyword provided.
Mark your calendar, Mohawk Families! Madison Open House will be held on Thursday, August 28th, from 5:45 to 7:30. Doors open at 5:30. See you there!
Mohawk Basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, August 18th! Girls will tryout from 4:30 - 6:00 and Boys will tryout from 6:00 - 7:30. Students must have a completed Athletic packet to participate. It's going to be a great season!
Be sure to take note of the changes to the 2025 - 2026 Bell Schedule. Early Release Fridays will now go until 3:15 pm.
